The Clerk-Treasurer is elected every four years.

The Clerk-Treasurer has more duties specifically outlined by Indiana law than any other elected official. The Clerk-Treasurer is responsible for the overall collection and disbursment of funds, the administration of the accounting system, the signing of checks, the town seal, and serves as investment coordinator for the municiple treasury. The Clerk-Treasurer is also responsible for payroll and accounts payable and serves as clerk by attending meetings, preparing agendas and recording proceedings.

Mrs. Clem was appointed in 2005 and was elected for a four year term begining in 2007
